Those are just filler arcs unrelated to the real story. They are doing that cuz so that the manga version can get a headstart from the anime.

lol, yeah, the naruto fillers are rather lame though, but a few of them are funny, but dunno, if it goes the same was as the manga does then it will be sucky about what happens.
